10 Natural Beauty Hacks for Tired Eyes
Stay hydrated
Hydration – from the inside and the outside can really perk up your skin.Whether you’ve had fatigue or even dry skin, it is an absolute must to hydrate the body well. Jannat recommends at least 7-8 glasses of water daily. She says, “A well hydrated skin is the key to youthful skin. It is the moisturizer the body needs to function well. Water carries nutrients and waste products, regulates temperature, acts as a lubricant and plays a role in most chemical reactions happening inside us.” The perfect cleanser, water adds the needed suppleness and when cold water is splashed on the face, it immediately tightens the pores and soothes the eyes. Cold water also works great as an anti-wrinkle cream! Her Instagram Handle is Makeupbyjannat. She also gives out a quick tip, that is, to wash face with super cold water before applying make-up to not only tighten the pores but also to firm-up the skin for easy gliding of foundation.
Green Tea Bags
Never ever throw your green tea bags after one use. Green tea is full of antioxidants and has high flavonoid content. Green tea bags work wonderfully and, when applied cold, constricts the blood vessels within the sensitive tissue around the eyes to reduce puffiness and inflammation.The antimicrobial properties in Green Tea helps ward off bacteria and uplifts tired, dull skin underneath the eyes. All you got to do is take two tea bags, brew yourself a perfect cuppa health. Do not throw the tea bag away. Keep it in the refrigerator for 20 minutes or until cold. Then take the tea bags out and gently squeeze excess water until the bags are damp. And now is the resting time. Lay down and put the tea bags over your eyes. Leave them on for 15-30 minutes. Remove and carefully rinse off any tea stains on your face. You can use this tea bag eye treatment every day or once a week to get rid of tired eyes.
Cold Spoon Press
To get rid of puffy, baggy eyes, the shortcut is to put two spoons in the freezer at night. When you wake up in the morning, place the backs of the cold spoons under your eyes and as close to the inner corners as possible. With gentle pressure, slowly glide the spoons toward the outer corners till the temple area. The gliding movement will not only minimize the puffiness but will also help in draining out the excess fluid under the eyes.
Cucumber Eye Pads
Cucumber is naturally cooling and is also rich in vitamin C and Caffeic acid, which helps reduce puffiness and soothes the skin at the same time. Simply slice a cucumber and place the slices over your eyes for 5-10 minutes. You can also cool the slices in the fridge for a while and then use them!

Color correct that area of concern
Color correction is the technique to cancel out any unwanted colours from our skin. For instance, any redness can be cancelled with a green corrector or brown pigment can be canceled with an orange concealer. Usually for Indian skin, the most common is dark pigmentation under the eyes which can be knocked off with orange or peach color corrector
Bring in your concealer
To fake an extra hour of sleep, conceal the dark circles under eyes.Concealer is one of the easiest and quickest ways to brighten your eyes, apply a little on your under eye area, you can also apply it to your eye lid for a more brighter fresher look.

Highlight
For brighter under eye area, highlight the area with foundation or concealer lighter than your regular foundation. Jannat suggests to opt for lighter shades as they give a fresh and vibrant look. She says, “Shades lighter than your skin color can cover up the dark circles and make you look impressively awake.”
Powder
As areas around the eyes is prone to creasing, it is a must to set it with loose powder to get a clean look. Loose powder also ensures that your face doesn’t look caked up and at the same time lends a matte-finish.
Eyeshadow
Apply a bright but lightcolour of eyeshadow in the inner corners of your eyes(like bronze or rose gold) makes the eyes look more open and fresh.
Kajal
Just applying Kajal to your waterline can do wonders for making to look fresh and dressy.
Nude pencil
Ifyou are not a fan of the regular black Kajal, then applying a nude color pencil to your waterline make the eyes look brighter. Nude eyeliners sparkle up your eyes instantly and make them look bigger and wide awake.
Mascara
Mascara works as the perfect eye-opener that can make your eye look finished. Jannat says that you can also opt for eyelash curler prior to get that dramatic effect. Eye lash curlers not only add volume but also helps in making eyes look more open.

Using an eyeliner will not only counteract shadows underneath the eyes, but will also make the whites look brighter. Jannat reveals her trick and says you can opt for a brown eyeliner with a hint of shimmer to make your eyes look so much more awake.
